Visa Support Letter
Visa Support letters can be issued only to attendees who have registered for the conference and have paid for their registration in full.
Once you have registered via the conference Registration site and your payment has been confirmed, you can request a letter to the general co-chair Marin Litoiu (mlitoiu@yorku.ca) providing the following information:
- The full name as it appears on the passport
- The affiliation with the postal mailing address
- The current position
- The paper title the attendee will present
- The track or workshop of the paper
- Registration confirmation number
Note that the support letter contains a Special Event Code, issued by Immigration Canada. Use that code in your visa application to speed up the process.
The Conference cannot contact or intervene with any Embassy or Consulate office abroad on your behalf, so please register early and begin your visa application process early.
