About the Conference

The ACM/SPEC International Conference on Performance Engineering (ICPE) integrates the theory and practice of performance engineering by bringing together researchers and industry practitioners to share their experiences, discuss challenges, and report state-of-the-art and in-progress research on performance engineering of software and hardware systems, performance measurement, modeling, benchmark design, and run-time performance management. The emphasis on cooperation between industry and academia is reflected in the conference accepting not only research papers, but also industrial papers, works in progress and demo submissions. ACM/SPEC ICPE is sponsored by ACM SIGMETRICS, ACM SIGSOFT, and the Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation (SPEC), and is co-located with the regular SPEC group meetings, where work on the latest industry standard benchmarks is coordinated.
